GUEST BLOGGER: Ben Beaumont

CONCERT@CAJUN'S PREVIEW

Wild Sweet Orange from my hometown of Birmingham, Ala., will bring its
unique indie rock sound to Cajun's Wharf on Monday, November 6 at 7:00
p.m. A true rock and roll band that grew from five young suburban
friends has taken the Birmingham music scene by storm, while creating
a buzz in the likes of Atlanta and Seattle. Preparing to launch their
first album, WSO really "feels" like the next big southern band.
Frontman Preston Lovinggood not only has a rockstar name, but a poetic
and spirtual writing style.

From the band's bio: "...Wild Sweet Orange emerges with gritty rock
and contemplative ballads that both tell a story and evoke mystery.
The soaring melodies transport you from a dark club, back to the house
you grew up in. The modern and the classic come together in this
melting pot, as Wild Sweet Orange joins in with the ever growing
question, Are things ever as they seem?"

Preview Wild Sweet Orange at www.myspace.com/wildsweetorange, and come
out to Cajun's so you can say you knew them before they were big.
